Paper Mario: Color Splash

If the person you are shopping for happens to be a big Nintendo geek, look no further.
Save the princess, beat the big guy with the turtle shell on his back, PMCS returns to the basics that Nintendo Gamers loved about the Mario franchise.
However, there's a new twist, Mario is accompanied by his trusty paint can "Huey" who he uses to color his way through levels.
While most of the game is about having the right paint or the right cards, Nintendo keeps it fresh with a great rendering of the Mario World.
Paper Mario appears as a 2D cut-out in a 3D world that really makes him pop off the screen.
Sometimes the gameplay can feel repetitive, but the difficulty of the bosses will keep you busy solving problems until Peach is finally rescued.
Verdict: This is perfect for kids or hardcore Mario fans. Light and packs a great story line.
Mario: Super Sluggers

Now Mario: Super Sluggers is actually just a remastered version of the original Wii game, but this one makes our list because couch co-op games are a dying breed and this is the best one coming out.
The whole Mario cast and a few characters from Donkey Kong are back and are as hard-hitting as ever with the power-up mechanics.
Think Mario Tennis, but baseball.
This game pretty is pretty much what you would expect out of a Mario Sports game, making it a great buy as a family night sort of game.
The game offers 7 different stadiums to play your exhibition games at and each one offers its own unique challenges.
For example, at Bowser's stadium, fireballs come raining down on outfielders making even a simple pop-fly interesting.
Mario: Super Sluggers remastered will keep the couch co-op genre alive through the holiday season.
Verdict: Great family game and unique and cute characters! It can also be super competitive if you want it to be.
Star Fox Zero

Star Fox Zero is the latest installment in the Star Fox franchise, but like many Wii U games, it essentially is a remastering of the original.
There's nothing bad about that, as I can remember playing countless hours of Star Fox 64 and that is where SFZ draws its influence from.
The controls, at first, can feel a bit difficult, but once you master them you will find the joy in SFZ.
It feels so much like the original as the game has been rendered far better and your missions are more complex, but it will really bring nostalgia to former Nintendo 64 gamers.
Each boss offers a unique challenge and they have introduced a new variety of ships to choose from.
These ships can transform into land vehicles or other crafts. The subtle additions and upgrade in graphics make Star Fox Zero one of the more successful Nintendo reboots on the Wii U.
The subtle additions and upgrade in graphics make Star Fox Zero one of the more successful Nintendo reboots on the Wii U.
Verdict: This is for anyone who dreams of flying spaceships and loves a good challenge.
What's the Best?
All of these games are awesome for kids and adults alike. The best part is, you can join in with the fun with your kids.
Also, if you need spare chargers or cables for your Wii U, we're having a massive SALE for the holiday season (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Chrismas)!
