New possible Slim Xbox console in production?

Source: http://wiiudaily.com/2014/09/japanese-sales/

First was SONY, then Nintendo. Obviously Microsoft can't sit back and let two of its contenders steal the limelight.

Some of us have heard of the Xbox 2 from years ago and Microsoft trying to gain back console users that are more inclined to by the PS4 (always an intense debate topic). So once there were rumors of a Playstation 4.5/NEO being developed and also the new Nintendo NX, of course Microsoft has to send out some news as well.

Rumors have been going around that a new Xbox one II (2nd gen) is being mass produced. A leaked image showed that the possible new console could be as light as 600-800g.

Previous news from Digital Foundry showed a probability of an Xbox Slim model being produce dur to the development of a smaller 20nm chip. With E3 2016 looming closer, hopefully we can expect some news and perhaps a first look at the possible new console.

The next step these gaming giants would be taking, might be to create a console that is ready for Virtual Reality technology. However, we would most probably not see it in this release of the Xbox for now.

Will you be waiting for the Playstation NEO, Nintendo NX, or the Xbox One II? For me, there are so many choices, but so few dollars in the bank: #collegeproblems. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
