What's up TekBots? I'll tell you what's up lately in the news. If you've been looking to gear up on a new headset, you might want to look at these two new ones recently announced. The first, is HyperX's Cloud Revolver that will ship on the 9th of May and is available for preorder in two days. The second (which is available in black or white) is the LS30 Wireless Universal Gaming Headset which is from the creators of TRITTON with their new brand release, LucidSound.
They are debuting their first product line-up with a gaming headset that is available in two colors (black or white) and works for the ps4, ps3, xbox one, xbox 360 and mobile phones. Which makes it practically universal!
It will be making it's first rounds at the Gadget Show Live consumer show in NEC, Birmingham and has won Reviewed.com's CES Editors Choice Award 2016 which definitely puts it in our radar. It will be purchasable at the show and is said to boast comfort and uncompressed sound quality. Check out the black and white version below.
The headphones is not only wireless, it comes with an integrated or removable boom microphone. It features a 2.4Ghz uncompressed wireless technology, 50mm Neodymium drivers that provide awesome bass and clear high trebles, and also a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 15 hours of non-stop gameplay. It not only has the capabilities and functionalities of a gaming headset, it also is stylist enough to bring around for everyday usage. Definitely a want in my books!
Meanwhile, we can't forget one of the major brands in gaming technology, HyperX. They have decided to improve their previous version of the HyperX Cloud headsets to produce the HyperX Cloud Revolver.
It features studio grade sound stage, 50mm directional drivers, larger ear cups, a detachable noise-cancelling microphone, multi-compatible with the PC, Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, Mac and mobile and comes with also a 2mm audio control box extension. The headset is said to allow gamers to have an advantage in hearing enemy locations from further away.
It will be available to be bought at the MLG CS:GO Major Championships and other major retailers will be open for preorders on the 1st of April. It comes with a 2 year warranty and if you loved their memory foam in the last versions of the HyperX Cloud, you will love the comfort on these set of ears.
If you are looking for a long-lasting set of durable gaming earphones that focuses more on FPS gaming and giving you the competitive edge, the HyperX Cloud revolver might be something you're looking for. However, if you're looking for something you can use for gaming but also looks stylish and easy to take around, the LS30 would be more your kind of headset. On the other hand, the price is a different story.
But then again, the choice is solely yours to choose and you should definitely try them out before buying to get the maximum eargasm that you need. Let us know in the comments below which one of these headsets you'll be looking out for! Love it or hate it?
